Toor Dahl 1kg
|Toor Dahl is a type of pulse. It is almost the same as yellow lentil but just slightly smaller.
They are available in a 1 kg bag.
Soak for about 20 minutes in fresh water at 4 degree C. Drain and rinse well. Cook for about 35 minutes. Used in a variety of dishes including soups and casseroles. Popular in Indian Cuisine. They mix well with spinach, garlic and cauliflower.
High in Protein, Fibre and Iron.
Easily substituted with yellow split peas.
They are sometimes referred as lentils or split pigeon peas.
